And actually all the above shots were taken using videocam....with some post-edit touchup :P

Hi Bum,

No i didn't know about the b/w exhibition.

Even if I know, also won't have time to go.

Tied down with 2 kids lah...

Since grounded at home most of the time, try to amuse myself with my camera, my corals and my photoshop :)

wah~~~!!! :shock: wat camera u using?

Its an old sharp video cam with a resolution of 770K pixel.

I found that the video cam can produce "ok" close-up shots.

But would be too grainy for normal full-tank shots.

Th videocam can actually take closer shots than my newly bought digicam.

For those with videocam at home, it worth trying out close-up shot.

I would normally pressed the lens against the glass to minimise reflection as well as getting a more steady pic.

If the subject is brightly lit and close enough to the glass, the success rate will be quite high.

Believe me, give it a try!

Especially those who has videocam with > 1Mb pixel resolution.
