Has anyone tried this Atman pump? It is rated at 8500L/hr and 8m height. The power consumption is 200w. There are three models, the 7000L/hr and 5600L/hr. The power consumption are less for those.

I tried the 8500L/hr and the power is amazing. Just want to get opinion from the rest of you. Since I'm using it internally, I don't know if this pump is giving out a lot of heat or not.

As to the place, I found this pump at Pasir Ris Farm behind the Mainland. As for the price, it is quite reasonable. At about $120.

Best Regards,

Patrick

this pump is very cheap for its published flow rate..but as with most china/taiwan pump models..they tend to overrate their flow rate by quite a margin....i dunno if atman is a china/taiwan pump or not...

this pump seems to similar to a german pond pump...mebner..

i am using P6000 pushing 6300l/hr at 90Watts

they have P8000 pushing 7800l/hr at 120W

and also PF9000 (slightly different design) pushing 8820l/hr at 125W

so i feel that for about the same flow rate...the atman is very energy inefficient compared to this german pump....but cheaper no doubt...the mebners are in the range of 200plus to 300plus

the germans in general are rather strict about their published flow/wattage or perfomance ratings compared to their china/taiwan counterparts....i generally take china/taiwan pump information with a big pinch of salt :)

generally as you go up in pump wattage, more heat will be produced :)
